Io sono la terra
Uomini, voi vivete perchè io vi nutro
nei campi fertilizzo la semenza
l'aqua sgorga abbondante dai miei seni
sugli alberi appendo i frutti succosi e dolci per il vostro palato.
Uomini, dagli inizi dei tempi io sono stata la vostra madre
vi ho cresciuti da quando eravate non altro che girini.
Vi ho osservati
quando nella vostra evoluzione
piano piano il vostro intelletto
vi ha allontanato dal ritmo scandito dal mio cuore.
Vi ho osservati quando
vi siete allontanati dal mio abbraccio
e dai miei seni con i quali vi nutrivate.
V sto osservando
e vi sto sentendo.
Mi fate del male
ogni volta che scavate sempre di più
per arricchirvi delle mie risorse.
Mi state soffocando
con ogni acro di foresta che scompare.
Mi state prosciugando
avvelenando tutti le mie sorgenti.
Uomini, dagli inizi dei tempi vi ho curato
ma arriverà un tempo in qui la mia delusione si trasformerà in furia
